General Information
Spring Lake Estates takes full advantage of its surroundings, just north of 580-acre Spring Lake a few minutes southwest of the heart of the City of Prior Lake.
"Natural Beauty in Every Direction" is the motto here. Spring Lake is to the south. Densely forested 350+ acre Spring Lake Regional Park borders the neighborhood to the east. Elsewhere are stands of trees, wetlands and pockets of green space among rolling topography.
Most lots within Spring Lake Estates back right up to some sort of natural amenity giving homeowners expanded backyards that will never be taken away from them. Because of some many natural amenities the density of the project was limited providing lots that are oversized and spacious. Most lots have a minimum of 20,000 square feet of space.
Lots in Spring Lake Estates are open to all builders and buyers, with strict architectural controls, allowing Spring Lake Estates to grow with architectural variety.
The neighborhood has another unique feature—in addition to being adjacent to a large regional park, it has a private park area of its own on Spring Lake, with a common dock and picnic area. Spring Lake Estates will also have a city park in the middle of the neighborhood.
Homeowners in Spring Lake Estates will be part of the Spring Lake Estates Master Association. Monthly dues for this membership are $47 per month and include garbage removal, common area maintenance (open spaces, monuments, etc.), maintenance of the privately owned lake outlot on Spring Lake and the common dock with access to the lake.
